GARY Bowyer said Salford “need to get better” after they fell short of reaching the League Two play-offs.The Ammies, who needed a victory against Mansfield to keep their hopes of achieving a topseven finish alive, were held to a 2-2 draw to end their dreams.“The lads are gutted because they gave everything this season,” said boss Bowyer, 50.“They are a great set of lads to work with and we’ve got to come back stronger now.“You look at the way we are on the pitch, we’re going the right way, but we need to get better.”
