FANS TO CHIP IN TO FUND RUDGE STATUE…

THE Port Vale Supporters Club will officially launch a three-year funding campaign to build a statue of the club’s most successful and longest-serving manager John Rudge tomorrow night.
It will be the first time fans will get to see the concept design of the statue as well as initial sketches and a smaller clay sculpture of Rudge which will be used to create the final piece.
The 77-year-old, who bossed Vale from 1983 to 1999, will be in attendance and will be meeting fans as well as the sculptor commissioned by the supporters club to create the statue, Micha...
