SIMPSON: LET’S KEEP IT GOING

PAUL Simpson wants Carlisle to finish the season strongly and take the momentum into the new campaign.
Heading into the clash with Tranmere, the 55-year-old had seen the Cumbrians take 18 points from a possible 24 since returning to the club as manager.
Any relegation fears have been banished, and Simpson said: “We’ve got a lovely cushion between ourselves and second bottom.
“Let’s have a really good April. We’ve had a good March. Let’s have a really good April as well and make it a strong finish to the season.”
