JOEY Barton says he is seeing signs of recovery at Bristol Rovers, but insists his goals for the club are a long way off from being fulfilled.
The 39-year-old has had a mixed time since been appointed a year ago but, after finishing bottom of League One last season, things now look to be on the up for the Pirates.
Barton is looking for more, though, saying: “We’ve seen some green shoots of recovery for the club, but we’ve not got started on what I want to achieve here.
We’re only just getting going. The best is yet to come from this group.”
