SJK MOVE FOR BATES

YOUNG Walsall midfielder Alfie Bates has left the club to join Finnish side SJK Seinajoki on a long-term deal.
Bates, 20, played 68 games across four seasons for the Saddlers, but has joined the Finland top-flight side for an undisclosed fee. Bates tweeted: “Enjoyed my time at this club, some great memories from making my debut at 17. It’s been a journey.”
