MANSFIELD Town’s upturn in form has pleased defender Elliott Hewitt, but not suprised him.
After a run of 14 games without a win, the Stags had won four on the spin before the visit of Scunthorpe United and he has heralded the club’s turnaround on the pitch.
The 27-year-old said: “I think it was coming a long time before that first win against Tranmere.
“We deserved to win against Port Vale (1-1) and in some of the games before then we were unlucky.
“I think a bit of luck had been missing.”
