FUMING TAYLOR BLASTS FIVE-SUB PLANS

EXETER manager Matt Taylor has slammed the possibility of five substitutes per team being introduced to League Two.
Football’s rule-makers IFAB have recommended that sides be allowed to make five changes during a game, at all levels.
The rule was brought in by the EFL both for Project Restart and last season but the league voted against carrying it on for 2021-22.
Individual competitions will be able to decide whether or not to implement the rules but Taylor is one manager who is firmly against the proposal.
