TELFORD REAPING REWARDS

NEWPORT striker Dom Telford admits his time at the club has not been easy, but feels he is now seeing the benefits of his hard work with regular playing time.
The 24-year-old featured twice in the Exiles’ opening nine league games, but has since played five consecutive matches and had taken his scoring tally to six heading into yesterday’s clash with Stevenage.
Telford said: “It’s not been the easiest ride. I’ve had a few tough times finding myself out of the side and down the pecking order, but you’ve got to put in the work and you reap the rewards.”
