HARTRIDGE PENS NEW CONTRACT

ALEX Hartridge had no hesitation in signing a new deal at Exeter.
The 22-year-old defender has come up through the youth system at the club and is now a regular in the Grecians’ line-up.
Hartridge said: “I’ve spent ten years trying to get to where I am today so it was an easy decision and there was no reason why I wouldn’t sign.
“Me and the manager (Matt Taylor) had a lot of conversations about it but it was easy.
“It’s amazing playing week in, week out. It’s completely different to last season, with the fans back and the rest between games.”
