MCARDLE INJURY WOE FOR WEAVER

HARROGATE manager Simon Weaver admits he doesn’t know when veteran defender Rory McArdle will return from a groin injury after scans revealed it’s worse than initially feared.
The 34-year-old former Bradford, Scunthorpe and Exeter defender had started all nine of Town’s league matches this season prior to sustaining the injury against Stevenage a week ago.
McArdle was replaced during the goalless draw and Weaver initially hoped he would be available to play in yesterday’s match with Oldham.
However, he now faces several weeks on the sidelines.
