CLARKE INJURY ADDS TO PIRATES’ MISERY

BRISTOL Rovers manager Joey Barton expects striker Leon Clarke to be out for a ‘significant period of time’ after suffering a hamstring injury.
The 36-year-old was forced off the pitch during the League Two side’s 1-0 defeat at Hartlepool last weekend, adding to an ever-growing injury list.
Barton was also handed a blow with news that the Pirates are set to be without 26-year-old midfielder Sam Nicholson for four weeks thanks to a shin problem.
