CHALLINOR KEEN ON NEW PAIR

HARTLEPOOL boss Dave Challinor hopes the additions of experienced duo Mike Fondop and Jordan Cook will complement the forwards already at the club.
Fondop, 27, and 31-year-old Cook have joined Pools on permanent deals after leaving Burton and Gateshead respectively at the end of last season.
Challinor said: “They are different to what we have and their experience will allow us to mix things up at the top end of the pitch. We need to add presence and goals to the team and they have shown a capacity to do this.”
