STAGS ON THE RISE – OATES

IT MAY be early days, but Rhys Oates believes “it’s looking positive for the season” at Mansfield.
The forward, who arrived from Hartlepool, had yet to get off the mark for his new club heading into yesterday’s clash with Swindon, but the 26-year-old is confident goals will come.
He said: “I think we can improve in all aspects, but you can always improve no matter how well you’re doing. But it’s looking positive for the season.”
