U’S HOME DEBUT IS DELAYED BY PITCH WORKS

SUPPORTERS of Sutton United will be forced to wait almost a month to watch their side in action at home after two games were moved.
The U’s won the National League title last season to end a 123-year stay in Non-League, and were due to play their first ever home game in the EFL against Salford City on Saturday.
However, a delay in relaying the pitch at Gander Green Lane means that fixture will now take place at Salford’s Peninsula Stadium.
