JOB’S NOT DONE YET – BEECH

CARLISLE boss Chris Beech has hailed his side’s efforts during the first half of the season – but said the job is not finished yet.
Since taking charge in November 2019, Beech has guided the Blues away from the threat of dropping out of the Football League and into the battle for promotion to League One.
The 46-year-old is not resting on his laurels though, saying: “We’ve already smashed the ball out of the park in terms of what we’ve done in the first half of the season, possibly against the odds, but there’s still work to do.”
