NEIL Cox slammed his Scunthorpe players after seeing them slip to defeat at fellow strugglers Barrow.
Josh Kay’s second-half strike saw Michael Jolley’s Bluebirds leapfrog stuttering Scunthorpe and inflict a fifth league defeat in six games for the visitors.
Their win was overshadowed, though, by an injury to Luke James that saw the striker taken to hospital.
