DEREK Adams admitted feeling gutted to have missed out on three points as his Morecambe shared the spoils with struggling Cambridge.
Adams said: “It’s nice to be off the bottom of the table but it is disappointing that we didn’t hold onto the lead as we had the chance to move further up the table to today.
“Overall I thought we had the best opportunities to take the three points, but we didn’t take our chances again and in some way it feels more like two pints dropped rather than a point...
