SALFORD manager Graham Alexander lauded the impact of new signing Michael O’Connor as nine-man City knocked Forest Green out of the play-off places.
Signed during the week from Lincoln City, along with winger Bruno Andrade, O’Connor was on target as he nodded his 54thminute header beyond goalkeeper Adam Smith.
