EFL NEED TO LOOK AT HOW TO PUNISH ROGUES

MACCLESFIELD are facing a possible points deduction from the EFL after failing to fulfil last weekend’s fixture against Crewe due to a player strike.
The players refused to take the field after the League Two Silkmen repeatedly failed to pay wages due to players and staff.
First things first. It’s not acceptable for the owner of any club to give these lads contracts that aren’t viable because they do have mortgages to pay. They do have bills and families to support. Especially somewhere like Macclesfield where the owners have been in situ for a number of years...
