IT was a scrappy goal to win a scrappy game but Northampton again demonstrated their promotion credentials with this battling victory over fellow high-flyers Forest Green Rovers.
Defeat at Exeter last time out ended Cobblers’ impressive unbeaten run but they were straight back to winning ways, albeit not without a touch of good fortune.
