LEAGUE One’s top two suffered contrasting emotions in their FA Cup first round replays – it was agony for Wycombe but ecstasy for Ipswich.
Wycombe met fellow third tier outfit Tranmere for the third time in 12 days. The previous two meetings came at Rovers’ Prenton Park – the sides drew 2-2 in the Cup before Wycombe won 2-0 last Sunday to climb to the top of League One.
