First match?
It was a cup game – Notts County vs Manchester City at Meadow Lane in 1991 before the ground was redeveloped. I went with my Dad and I think we beat them.
I was always playing so I never really had time to go and watch games – I was about 13 before I had the chance to actually see it in the flesh but it was brilliant.
There were close to 20,000 there that day and to share it with my dad on the terraces absolutely blew me away.
