MARK Cooper hailed his Forest Green players after they kept their slim automatic promotion hopes alive and put a massive dent in Tranmere’s chances.
Junior Mondal scored early in the second half for the visitors and, despite having to withstand an onslaught of pressure from Micky Mellon’s side, the Cotswolds outfit held on for all three points.
