Adebayo on target after late inclusion

RICHIE WELLENS was pleased with his Swindon Town side’s endeavour as he picked up his first win as the club’s boss with a victory away at Port Vale.
Swindon were ahead after 11 minutes when Elijah Adebayo, a late replacement for the injured Marc Richards, reacted first after keeper Scott Brown parried Scott Twine’s back-heeled volley, to net from close range.
Neil Aspin’s hosts went close as Tom Conlon forced Swindon stopper Lawrence Vigouroux into a low stop before Tom Pope headed over.
