Strength in depth is key for Joe’s U’s

JOE DUNNElinked his Cambridge squad’s growing depth to their recent upturn in form.
Paul Lewis stooped to head the winning goal seven minutes from time to give
Cambridge a 1-0 win and extend their unbeaten run to four games. It was their second success in a row by that score, with the goal coming from a U’s substitute on each occasion.
Cambridge goalkeeper David Forde had twice kept out Elliot Embleton, but David Amoo broke free down the right and drilled a fierce cross which was converted from close range by fellow substitute Lewis.
