THERE was late joy for Wycombe Wanderers and pain for AFC Wimbledon in the latest group stage matches.
Wycombe’s winner against Fulham U21s at Adams Park came courtesy of Scott Kashket four minutes into injury time and was the final kick of the game. He took advantage of Paris Cowan-Hall’s cute backheel to fire home via a deflection. The Chairboys had also been fast out of the blocks in front of a meagre 595-strong crowd. Alex Samuel netted his first goal for the club on two minutes, drilling the ball home.
