BURY manager Ryan Lowe was left to bemoan his side’s lack of cutting edge in front of goal as they suffered defeat for the first time this season on home soil as Richie Bennett’s solitary strike won it for Carlisle.
In a first half of few chances, it was the Shakers who worked the ball into the box, 27 minutes in, only for the ball to break to Nicky Adams who saw his shot rebound off the crossbar with Adam Collin rooted to the spot.
