JOE DUNNE has finally been given the Cambridge manager’s job on a permanent basis – and he’s excited to see how far he can take the team.
After joining as an assistant manager in 2015, Dunne worked under Richard Money and Shaun Derry before taking over as interim boss in February following Derry’s departure.
Coming into the weekend, the U’s had only lost four of the 14 games that Dunne had taken charge of, to sit comfortably in mid-table.
