GARETH Ainsworth claims Wycombe are up for the challenge of League One after they ended their promotion campaign with a win over Stevenage.
Matt Bloomfield hit the winner in the first half as Wanderers cruised to a comfortable victory.
And Ainsworth believes his side are ready to show what they can do at a higher level.
“The planning is under way for League One. It is where we want to be and we are excited for the challenge ahead,” he said.
“It is a step up, but a step up that we are ready for and we know we will give a good account of ourselves.
