SAM Lavelle says he is enjoying playing against League Two’s best centreforwards with Morecambe.
The 21-year-old central defender initially felt he was not experienced enough but has seen his game develop, having made 25 appearances heading into the weekend.
He said: “The physicality was so different to what I was used to. When to use your body is massively different at this level, certainly in my position.
“There are some big names you come up against and I relish the chance to play against the likes of Adebayo Akinfenwa and Danny Hylton.
