BRADFORD say they will fork out a “significant sixfigure sum” to make improvements to their Valley Parade playing surface this summer.
The Bantams’ home match with Walsall on Easter Monday was called off following a pitch inspection by referee Carl Boyeson. If the club do not reach the play-offs, work will start on May 8 to replace the primary drains, which were originally installed in 1987.
