CRAWLEY’S smash and grab at Vale Park saw Harry Kewell’s side come from behind to register their first win in seven games, leaving the Australian manager beaming.
Tom Pope gave Vale a deserved lead but home centre-back Nathan Smith first conceded a penalty, which was converted by Josh Payne, before he compounded a miserable afternoon by putting into his own net.
The win sees Crawley safely ensconced in mid-table, but it was a game boss Kewell saw as a milestone.
