Maamria returns to haunt the Ironsides

STEVENAGE manager Dino Maamria believes his side’s narrow triumph at former club Newport is a sign of things to come.
The former Newport assistant manager returned to Rodney Parade a year after he was shown the exit door along with Graham Westley and watched on as Chris Whelpdale’s first-half header earned current side Boro a hard-fought victory.
And he reckons the nature of their batting win shows they are ready to return to the top-end of the table next season.
