OLDFIELD FAREWELL TO POSH

LEAGUE ONE
PETERBOROUGH assistant manager David Oldfield has left his role at the club.
The former Posh midfielder, 49, who also took charge of Peterborough for a single game as caretaker boss in January 2011, had been number two at the ABAX Stadium since May.
Oldfield assisted former manager Grant McCann, who was sacked in February, and a club statement read: “The club would like to thank David for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
McCann was replaced by Steve Evans, who departed Mansfield to step into the Posh hot seat.
