NOTTS County manager Kevin Nolan felt his side were refused “a blatant penalty” at the death as they lost ground on the automatic promotion places in League Two after this stalemate at Newport.
Defender Ben Hall appeared to be pushed over in the box in the closing stages at Rodney Parade but referee Robert Lewis waved away the appeals from the visiting players.
