Shot-shy strugglers settle for stalemate

MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley believes his side deserved all three points from their goalless draw at Port Vale.
Both sides are fighting for their lives as they try and stave off relegation to non-league football and the Shrimps had the better of the chances but failed to put the hosts away at Vale Park.
Boss Bentley reflected: “It was a good point but it could have been more.
“It wasn’t a bad game to be fair. We were the better side in the first half and they probably shaded it in the second and overall I think a draw was probably a fair result.
