BRETT Pitman says Portsmouth can go toe-totoe with the big boys in League One.
Kenny Jackett’s side won League Two last term and striker Pitman, 29, believes nobody should scare his side.
“Wigan and Blackburn are the two best teams we’ve played,” said Pitman, who had scored 12 goals in 18 games ahead of yesterday’s game against Bury.
“Are we a million miles away from either of them? Probably not. We’re not that far off.
“The rest of the league is similar. I don’t see why we can’t compete with them.”
