SWINDON’S failure to impress at the County Ground yet again will madden Robins fans.
David Flitcroft’s side appeared to be gaining momentum in League Two, even after their seven-match unbeaten run was ended by Grimsby in midweek. But Newport looked far more cohesive throughout, stray passes letting the home side down.
For a side that had scored twice in each of their last five games, Swindon’s end product was disappointing. On this evidence, top-scorer Luke Norris cannot return soon enough.
