ACCRINGTON STANLEY ran out winners against Coventry City in the first-ever league meeting between the two sides – and Stanley boss John Coleman has called on his team to use this performance as a benchmark for the rest of the season.
Sean McConville scored the only goal of the game on the quarter-hour mark, Stanley worked the ball across the pitch to the winger, who found himself in acres of space inside the area to confidently fire into the back of the net.
