SUNDERLAND manager Simon Grayson was pleased to see the return of Duncan Watmore as the striker completed his comeback last weekend.
Watmore has been out of action for ten months with a knee injury but returned from the bench for Sunderland’s 2-2 draw with Preston. The 23-year-old made a 26-minute cameo.
He said: “We’ve been playing a safety game with Duncan but it was always our intention for him to get 30 minutes and he looked a threat.
