RICHIE Wellens is giving himself every chance of earning the Oldham job on a full-time basis – and the interim boss has acknowledged that he would love to become the club’s permanent manager.
Wellens was put in temporary charge of the Latics following John Sheridan’s sacking a fortnight ago and has led the team to three wins from three, moving them out of the relegation zone ahead of the weekend.
