Godden’s a good’un as Sarll sounds off

DARREN Sarll commended his side’s resilience as Stevenage got back to winning ways at home to Morecambe. Kyle Wootton bagged the winner for Boro with a neat finish just seconds after replacing Danny Newton as a substitute. Earlier, Matt Godden gave the home side the lead with an emphatic finish on 25 minutes before Steven Old’s low header levelled the scores.
The first-half also saw Sarll exchange seemingly heated words with Shrimps winger Kevin Ellison, but the Stevenage boss insisted there was no bad blood.
