Still life in Shola yet as Nolan’s boys soar

KEVINNolan purred over a complete Notts County performance as they dented Colchester’s play-off hopes with a sensational display at Meadow Lane.
Two goals from the brilliant Shola Ameobi, and one from Haydn Hollis, saw off the U’s, who scored through a spectacular strike from Chris Porter.
The result meant that EFL safety is all but guaranteed for Notts who have remained unbeaten at home since Nolan arrived in January.
But this was the most impressive of the performances so far and it left the Magpies boss thrilled with his players.
