Kevin Nolan issued a heartfelt apology to the traveling army of Northampton fans after seeing his side thrashed at Burton.
The Cobblers boss accepted his team had been nowhere near good enough and promised they would look to bounce back and deliver some kind of festive cheer on Monday when they face Huddersfield.
