BARNSLEY boss Conor Hourihane said he was ‘delighted’ for veteran striker David McGoldrick after he weighed in with a hat-trick against Manchester United U21s.
The 37-year-old led the way as the Tykes romped to a 5-2 home success to boost their chances of qualifying from Northern Group D. The former Republic of Ireland frontman netted on 43 (pen), 51 and 62 minutes, while Neil Farrugia (74) and Jon Russell (79) also got on the scoresheet.
