STEVEN Schumacher rued Bolton’s lack of cutting end as their long wait for a victory at Bloomfield Road continued.
The Trotters had not won away from home against their Lancashire rivals since March 1977 and they went behind in the first half through Teddy Sharman-Lowe’s unlucky own goal.
Mason Burstow levelled for Bolton in the 61st minute before Xavier Simons saw his strike disallowed late on for an infringement.
