Gary Bowyer praised talented Charlie Webster after the former Chelsea youngster bagged a superb brace as Burton Albion beat Mansfield to record their first opening-day win since 2021.
Webster found the net with a goal in each half, with Baily Cargill reducing the deficit in reply.
“The movement and technique for his first goal is outstanding,” said Bowyer.
“He has got that in him. He has done a lot of work pre-season on his shooting, and you can see it pay off. Mansfield are a good team, and they have a lot of experience.
