CONOR Hourihane is ‘excited’ to be the permanent assistant head coach at Barnsley – and says he ‘loved every second’ of his playing career.
The 33-year-old midfielder made more than 580 senior club appearances, scoring 95 goals, and also played 36 times for the Republic of Ireland.
He made more than a century of league appearances for Plymouth, Barnsley and Aston Villa and also served Sunderland, Ipswich, Swansea (loan), Sheffield United (loan) and Derby.
