Blackpool come from behind to send Shrewsbury to the bottom of League One

Shrewsbury won 3-2 against at home in ‘s first game but could not replicate that in his second fixture.

The hosts broke the deadlock inside the opening five minutes when Mal Benning’s free-kick from inside his own half bounced over goalkeeper Harry Tyrer and into an empty net.

Matt Pennington got on the end of a corner in the 20th minute and tried his luck from close range but Shrewsbury cleared.

The visitors equalised in the 52nd minute when a drilled cross into the box found Aaron Pierre, who poked the ball into his own goal.

Blackpool turned the game on its head minutes later when Onomah converted a thunderous strike from the edge of the box.

Shrewsbury went close just past the hour mark when picked up a long ball but blasted his effort over the bar as they dropped to the foot of the table.
