Joey Barton says he will forever cherish the ‘amazing memories’ he made in his time as Bristol Rovers manager.
The 41-year-old was sacked on Thursday after just over two-and-a-half eventful years in charge at the Memorial Stadium.
After taking the reins in February 2021, the former Fleetwood boss was unable to keep the club in League One. However, the ex-Manchester City midfielder immediately led Rovers back to the third tier – in incredible circumstances.
